What organizers can see about you
When you get a ticket or join a membership, the organization behind it can see some of your details. Here's exactly what they see.
Updated October 1, 2026
When you get a ticket or a membership, the organization behind it needs to know who you are, for example to check people in at the door or to plan food. This article lists what they can see.
When you have a ticket to an event
The organization hosting the event, and any co-hosting organizations, can see and download:
- Your name, email address and profile picture
- Your food preferences
- Your school, and your union or section if you've chosen one
- Which tickets you have, their ticket IDs and whether they've been checked in
- When you joined the event
- Your answers to the event's ticket questions
- If a ticket was transferred to you, who sent it, with their name and email
If you sign up for resale alerts on a sold-out event, the organization can see your name, your email and when you signed up.
When you have a membership
The organization that offers the membership can see:
- Your name and email address
- Your membership periods, whether they're active and when you bought them
- Your membership ID
- Your food preferences
- Your answers to the membership's questions, including the answers in an application
What organizers can't see
Organizers never see your phone number, date of birth or personal number. Your personal number is only used for your digital Student ID.
About food preferences
Food preferences are saved on your profile, not per event. Every organization where you have a ticket or membership sees the food preferences currently on your profile.
To change or remove them, see How to edit your profile in the app.
