How to buy tickets in the Orbi app

Choose and reserve your tickets

1. Open the event in the Orbi app.
2. Tap Get tickets. If all tickets to the event are free, the button says Reserve spot.
3. On Purchase tickets, use the plus and minus buttons to choose how many of each ticket you want. The total is shown at the bottom.
4. Tap Continue.
5. If the organizer has added questions, answer them on the Requested info screen and tap Continue to checkout. You answer once for each ticket. Your tickets are not reserved yet at this point.
6. On Checkout, check the Overview. If you have a discount code, enter it under Discount code and tap Apply.
7. Tap Reserve tickets, or Reserve ticket if you chose one.

For free tickets, you're done. For paid tickets, pay as described below.

On popular events it can take a moment to reserve. While you see Do not leave this page, keep the app open.

Pay for your tickets

After you reserve, your tickets are held for you for about five minutes. A countdown at the top shows how much time you have left.

1. Under Payment method, tap + Add payment method and choose how to pay. Depending on your phone, you can also pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
2. Tap Complete purchase.

If the countdown runs out, you see "Time ran out. The purchase was not completed." Start again and reserve your tickets.

After you buy

You see "Your purchase was successful. Your tickets may take up to a minute to appear in the app." Tap View event to go back to the event.

Good to know

• Service fee. The checkout shows any service fee before you pay.
• Discounts can't be combined. If more than one discount applies to a ticket, the best one is used.
• Food preferences. The first time you buy tickets, you may be asked to Add food preferences. They are saved for future purchases.
• Leaving checkout. If you go back, the app asks "Are you sure you want to leave checkout?". If you select Leave checkout, your progress is lost.
