Can we archive or remove old events?

Wondering how to tidy up completed events from your organization's page? Here's the answer.

There is no archive in Admin, and published events can't be deleted, as they're required for accounting and reporting purposes. What you can do depends on the event's status.

Status	What you can do
Draft	Remove it. Open the menu on the event and select Remove. This can't be undone.
Published	Cancel it before it ends. See How to cancel an event. It can't be removed.
Canceled	Nothing more. The event stays under the Canceled tab and is no longer visible to users.

Finding old events in Admin

Past events stay on the Events tab in Admin. Use the Status filter and choose Upcoming, Ongoing or Past to show only the events you need.

To run an old event again, open its menu and select Duplicate. You get a new draft called "[copy]" followed by the original title, with the same tickets. Update the dates and details before you publish it. See How to duplicate an event for what is copied.
