How to find and join a membership in the app

Find memberships from your school and the pages you follow, choose a membership period and complete your purchase in the Orbi app.

Find a membership

From Campus: Open the Campus tab and tap Memberships under My Campus. The New memberships tab lists memberships from organizations at your school and from pages you follow.
From an organization page: Open the organization's page and tap Memberships.
From a discount or event: If a discount or ticket requires a membership, tap the membership card shown there.

Invite-only memberships are not listed. You can only join them through an invite. See How to accept a membership invite.

If you have not selected a school yet, the Campus tab asks you to Select school first.

Join a membership

Open the membership. Next to Membership you can see the price, or Free.
Tap Buy. If the button says Add, the membership is managed in another membership system. See How to add a membership from another membership system.
On Purchase membership, select the period you want. You can select more than one period. A lifetime period is selected on its own and takes you straight to the next step.
Tap Continue.
If the organization has questions, fill in the Application form. Required questions must be answered. Tap Continue to checkout.
Confirm your order. For a free membership, tap Complete purchase. For a paid membership, tap Confirm purchase, choose a payment method and tap Complete purchase.
Tap View membership to see your new membership.

What the period labels mean

Release:: The period is not on sale yet. The label shows when sales open.
Memberships are available: The period just went on sale.
Expired: Sales for the period have ended.
Already owned: You already have this period. Periods with fixed dates and lifetime periods can't be bought twice.

Memberships that require another membership

Some memberships are only for people who already have another membership. The membership page then shows Required membership or Required memberships, with how many of them you have, for example 0 / 1 active. Until you have the required memberships, the periods can't be selected. Tap a required membership to open it and join it first.
