What does the status on the Payments page mean?

Learn what each status next to the Payments title in Admin means and what you need to do.

Updated October 1, 2026

Once Orbi Pay is set up, the Payments page in Admin shows a status next to the title. It tells you whether Stripe, our payment provider, needs anything from you. Select the status to see a short explanation. If Stripe has set a deadline, the explanation ends with Stripe deadline: and the date.

If more than one thing applies, the page shows the most urgent status.

You can also spot problems from anywhere in Admin. A red dot next to Payments in the sidebar means Payments disabled, Verification failed or Action required. An amber dot means Information missing or More information needed.

Statuses

Status What it means What to do
Verified Your payment information is complete and up to date. Nothing.
Payments disabled Stripe has disabled payments or payouts because required information is missing or expired. Update the information to restore the account.
Verification failed Stripe could not verify some information. Update it to continue using payments and payouts.
Action required Required information is overdue and may affect payments or payouts. Update it with Stripe.
Information missing Stripe needs more information. Update it to avoid interruptions to payments or payouts.
More information needed Stripe will soon need more information. Add it before the deadline.
Under review Stripe is reviewing the information you submitted. Nothing right now.
Information requested Stripe needs additional information for future account requirements. You can provide it now to avoid interruptions later.

How to update your information

  1. In Admin, go to Payments.
  2. Select Update information. Stripe opens and asks only for the information it needs.
  3. Submit the information. You are sent back to the Payments page.

Update information is hidden while the status is Under review. If you see Unable to open Stripe account information., try again in a moment.

If another organisation manages your payments

If the page says Payments are managed by another organisation, you see the same statuses but can't update anything yourself. Contact that organisation if the status needs action.

For help with a failed verification, see Troubleshooting: Organisation verification failed.
