How to manage notifications in the app

Turn on push notifications

If notifications are off when you start using the app, it shows You're missing out! once. Tap Continue and allow notifications when your phone asks.

If you said no earlier, the app shows Enable notifications instead. Tap Go to settings and turn on notifications for Orbi in your phone's settings.

To turn push notifications off, or back on later, change the notification setting for Orbi in your phone's settings.

See your notifications

Tap the bell icon at the top of the home screen. A number on the bell shows how many notifications you haven't seen. If you have none yet, you see Your notifications will appear here.

Get notified about a post

1. Open the post
2. Tap the bell icon, Enable notifications

To stop notifications for that post, tap the bell icon again, Disable notifications.

Follow posts you comment on automatically

1. Tap your profile picture in the top right corner of the home screen, then tap the cog icon
2. Under Notifications, tap Notifications
3. Turn Auto subscribe on or off

When Auto subscribe is on, you subscribe to a post automatically when you comment on it.

Notifications stopped after logging out

When you log out, the app stops sending push notifications for your account to that phone. Log in again to start receiving them. See How to log out or switch accounts in the app.
