How to add a cover image to an event

Every new event gets a default cover image. You can replace it with your own image or generate a new one.

Upload your own image

1. In Admin, go to Events and open the event.
2. On the Info tab, select the image under Cover image.
3. Select the image preview and choose your file.
4. Drag the selection or its corners to crop the image, then select Save.
5. Select Save to update the event.

Generate an image

1. Open the cover image as in steps 1–2 above.
2. Choose how to generate it:
   • Automatically: based on the event's title, description, category and location.
   • Custom prompt: describe the image you want, using at least 5 characters.
3. Select Generate, then Save when you are happy with the result.

Image requirements

• File types: JPEG, PNG or WebP
• Ratio: 16:10. The crop tool keeps this ratio for you.

You can't change the cover image of a canceled event, and co-hosts can't change it.
