How to post, comment and react in the app

Write posts, comment on and react to posts, and edit or delete your own posts and comments in the Orbi app.

Where you can post

You can write a post at the bottom of:

An organization's page
An event page
A membership page, if you have an active membership
A group, if you are a member
Your own profile or another person's profile

Tap Create a post, write your message and tap the send button. To add images, tap the image button. A post can have up to 5,000 characters and 5 images. Each image can be at most 10 MB and 4096 pixels wide or high.

React to a post

Tap the thumbs-up button to react with a thumbs up. Tap it again to remove your reaction.
Press and hold the button to choose another reaction: thumbs up, fire, heart or party popper.

Tap the reactions on a post to see who reacted. You can also react to comments.

Comment on a post

Tap the comment button on the post, or open the post.
Write your comment in Comment on post and tap the send button.

You can comment on posts on organization pages, events and profiles. On membership pages, only active members and the organization can comment. In groups, only members can comment.

When you post or comment, you are subscribed to new comments on that post, as long as Auto subscribe is on. It is on by default. To change this or follow a single post, see How to manage notifications in the app.

Edit or delete your post

Tap the menu in the top-right corner of your post.
Tap Edit post or Delete post.

You can only change the text when you edit. To change images, delete the post and create a new one. Edited posts are marked Edited.

Edit or delete your comment

Press and hold your comment, then tap Edit reply or Delete reply. Deleting asks you to confirm with Delete.

Who else can delete posts and comments

The organization can delete any post or comment on its page, its events and its memberships.
Group admins and moderators can delete posts in their group.
You can delete posts other people write on your profile.
