How to post as your organization in the app

If you are on an organization's team, as an Admin or a Member, you can post and comment as the organization from the Orbi app. Use the same account that is on the team.

Find your organization in the app

On the Campus tab, tap My pages to see My organization pages, the organizations you are on the team of. Tap one to open its page.

Post as your organization

1. Open your organization's page, one of your events, or one of your memberships.
2. Tap Create a post.
3. Tap your profile picture next to the text field. Under Post as:, choose your organization.
4. Write your message and add images if you like.
5. To send a push notification, tap the bell (see below).
6. Tap the send button.

Notify people with a push notification

The bell only shows when you post as the organization:

• Organization page: notifies your followers. You see "You've turned on push notifications for those following your page".
• Event page: under Push notifications, turn on Send push notifications, choose To Attendees (everyone going to your event) or To Followers, then tap Confirm. For private events, the bell notifies attendees only.
• Membership page: notifies active members of the membership.

Tap the bell again to turn it off before you post. The bell only shows for memberships your organization owns and events it hosts. It doesn't show for events where your organization is only a co-host.

Comment as your organization

Open a post and tap your profile picture next to Comment on post. Under Comment as:, choose your organization.

Moderate posts and comments

On your organization page, your events and your memberships, you can delete any post or comment, including ones written by students. Tap the menu on the post and select Delete post, or press and hold a comment and select Delete reply. You can edit posts and comments written as your organization.

What you can't do in the app

• React to posts as your organization. Reactions are always from your personal account.
• Chat or post in groups as your organization.
• Schedule posts. Use Admin on orbi.io.

The post box is missing on a membership page

The post box on a membership page only shows if you have an active membership yourself. If you don't, post from Admin on orbi.io instead.
