How to invite a team member

Team members can open Admin and manage your organization. Only Admins can invite people.

Invite someone

1. Go to your organization page on orbi.io and click Enter Admin.
2. Select Team in the sidebar and click Invite. You can also click Invite at the top of the Organization page section.
3. Enter the person's Email.
4. Choose a Role: Admin or Member. New invitations are set to Member by default. See How to manage team roles and permissions.
5. To invite more people at once, click Add another.
6. Click Invite.

You will see "Invitations sent". Each person gets an email with a link to join.

How the invitee accepts

1. Open the link in the invitation email.
2. Sign in with the same email address the invitation was sent to. If they don't have an Orbi account yet, they can create one during sign in.
3. Click Accept Invitation.
4. Click Go to Organization to open Admin.

If they are already signed in with a different email address, they will see Switch Account. They need to sign in with the invited address to accept.

Pending invitations

Invitations that have not been accepted show on the Team page as Pending invitation. Click one to see the role, when it was sent and how much time is left.

An invitation expires 90 days after it is sent. To cancel an invitation, open the menu next to it and choose Remove.

Troubleshooting

• "There is already a pending invitation to ...": this person already has an invitation that has not expired. Remove it and send a new one if they can't find the email.
• "... is already a team member": this email address is already on your team.
• The invitee sees "Invalid link": the invitation has expired or was removed. Send a new invitation.
• You don't see the Invite button: you are a Member. Ask an Admin to invite the person or to change your role.
• "Unable to send invitations.": check the email addresses. You can't invite your own email address. If you want access with another address, ask another Admin to invite it.
