How to follow and connect with companies

Follow employers in Orbi Jobs to keep up with them, or connect to join their talent pool, and disconnect again whenever you want.

In Orbi Jobs you can follow companies you are interested in and connect with them to join their talent pool.

Find a company

Open the Jobs tab and tap Explore companies, or use the Companies tab at the top of the screen. You can also tap the company name on a job.

The company page shows what the company does, Perks, Type of positions, Locations, Discounts and Currently recruiting, when the company has added them.

Follow a company

Tap Follow on the company page. The button changes to Following. Tap it again to stop following.

The companies you follow are under Followed companies.

Connect with a company

Connecting adds you to the company's talent pool, so the company can contact you.

On the company page, tap Connect.
If a dialog opens, read the company's message. Some companies let you write a message to them, up to 5,000 characters. This is optional.
Tap Connect.

You see You're now connected with and the company name, and the button changes to Connected. The companies you are connected with are under Connections.

Disconnect from a company

On the company page, tap Connected.
Tap Disconnect to confirm, or Stay connected to cancel.

When you disconnect, the company loses your information and can't contact you anymore.

On orbi.io

On orbi.io, select the company name on a job to open the company's page. It shows the company's student discounts. Following and connecting with companies are only in the app.

Inactive QR Code

Companies can share a QR code that opens their page in Orbi. If you see Inactive QR Code, the code you scanned is no longer active. Tap View companies to find the company in the app instead.
