How to find jobs in Orbi Jobs

Orbi Jobs is the part of the app where you find jobs, internships and thesis projects from employers. It lives in the Jobs tab.

Orbi Jobs is not available at every school. If you see an Explore tab instead of Jobs, it is not available for your school.

Get started

The first time you open the Jobs tab:

1. Tap Get started.
2. Under Select study level, choose Associate degree, Bachelor, Master or PhD.
3. Under What are your subjects?, select the subjects that best match your studies and tap Submit.

You see You've unlocked Orbi Jobs.

Find jobs

Open the Jobs tab. Depending on how the tab is set up for you, either tap Explore jobs, or use the Jobs tab at the top of the screen.

The job list only shows jobs that match at least one of your subjects. To see other jobs, change your subjects. See "Change your subjects" below.

To switch between a list and a map of job locations, tap Map or List.

Filter jobs

1. Tap the filter button above the list. Jobs filter opens.
2. Choose what to narrow by, for example Search area, Type of position, On-site / Remote, Company size or Industries.
3. Tap Apply.

To remove your filters, tap Clear filters below.

Change your subjects

In Jobs filter, tap Update profile settings. Under Education you can change your study level, and under Subjects you can change your subjects. Tap Save.

Open, save and apply for a job

Tap a job to see the description, Last application date, Locations and Qualifications.

• To save a job for later, tap Save job. Your saved jobs are under Saved jobs.
• To apply, tap View more and apply. The employer's website opens. If the job has no website, the button says Send a message and opens your email app.

You apply directly with the employer. Orbi does not send applications for you.

If you see This job is no longer available, the job has been removed.

On orbi.io

You can also browse jobs in your browser. Open Jobs in the menu on orbi.io.

• Search with Search jobs, companies....
• Select Matches my profile to only see jobs that match the subjects and study level in your profile. You need to be signed in. Jobs that match are labeled Matching.
• Select a job to see the details. To apply, select Apply now to open the employer's website, or Apply via email to open your email app. You need to sign in to apply.
• Contact details for the job are hidden until you sign in. Select Sign in to see contact information.

If a job shows Closed, the application period has ended. Saving jobs and changing your subjects are only in the app.
