International Welcome Program Autumn 2026 | Husky Farm Trip

Come along with ESN Tromsø for a trip to Tromsø Villmarkssenter and spend some time with one of Northern Norway’s most lovable residents the huskies! 🐕💙 We’ll travel together by bus, with the journey taking around 30 minutes through Kvaløya before arriving at the husky farm. Once there, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the huskies, interact with them, take some photos, and simply enjoy spending time with the dogs. It’s a relaxed social trip and a great chance to experience something very northern while getting to know other exchange students. Once we’re finished at the farm, we’ll take the bus back together to UiT. 🎟️ Special ESNcard discount: ESNcard holders receive 50% off their ticket! So remember to bring your ESNcard with you. 🌧️ What should you wear? We strongly recommend bringing a good windproof jacket and shoes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. The ground at the husky farm can be wet and muddy, especially after rain, so rain boots or other waterproof footwear are a much better choice than sneakers. Come meet some huskies, explore a little more of Tromsø and Kvaløya, and enjoy the experience together with other international students! 🐾 We look forward to seeing you there! 💙🦜
