Share and invite: Get your students to join

Introduction

Orbi makes it easy to invite students and grow your organization by sharing links. The links open in the Orbi app if it is installed, and in the browser if it is not.

Follow the steps below to start sharing and inviting students.

Step 1: Share your organization page

You can share your organization page to help students discover your organization.

To share your page:

1. Go to your organization page on orbi.io
2. Click Share
3. The link is copied, ready to paste

In Admin, you can also click Share at the top of the Organization page section and then Copy organization link.

You can share this link through:

• Instagram (posts or bio)
• WhatsApp groups
• Other student channels

Step 2: Share your events

Promote your events by sharing event links directly.

To share an event:

1. Open your published event in Admin
2. Click Share
3. Click Copy event link

You can also click Share on the public event page to copy the link.

Step 3: Share your membership

Invite students to join your membership directly through a link.

To share your membership:

1. Open your membership in Admin, or its public page
2. Click Share to copy the membership link
3. Share it through your channels

Students can sign up and join directly through the link. Invite only memberships are hidden and can't be shared with a link.

This is especially useful for:

• Member-only events
• Collecting membership fees
• Building a long-term community

Step 4: Use brand assets (optional)

You can download the Orbi logo and app icon from the Orbi brand guidelines page at orbi.io/brand.

For example:

• Share a post or story announcing your organization on Orbi
• Add your link to guide students to your page

This helps increase visibility and engagement.

By sharing your links across different channels, you make it easy for students to discover your organization, join your events, and become members.
