Social entrepreneurship and funding opportunities
This interactive workshop introduces the fundamentals of social entrepreneurship and explores how social ventures can create positive societal impact while building sustainable models for the future.
Participants will gain an understanding of what characterises a social enterprise and how socially driven initiatives can move from idea to implementation. The workshop also provides an introduction to European funding opportunities, including programmes such as Erasmus+, Horizon Europe and Creative Europe, and how they can support ideas and projects with the potential to create change.
Develop and test your own social venture
The workshop combines practical exercises, discussion and reflection with hands-on learning. Working in teams, participants will develop their own social venture concept, from identifying a societal challenge to outlining a possible solution, target group and sustainable model.
The session concludes with short presentations and peer feedback, creating an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from others and explore how a concept can take shape in a short time.
The workshop will be led by Luiza Dumbrava, President of the Home Across Cultures Association (HACA) in Bucharest and coordinator of several Erasmus+ projects. Drawing on her experience of supporting socially driven initiatives and international collaborations, she will share practical perspectives on social entrepreneurship and European funding opportunities.
Whether you are developing an idea, involved in a community initiative or simply curious about social entrepreneurship, the workshop offers a practical introduction to the field and inspiration for future projects.
