Two associations. One weekend.
Something exciting is about to happen. For the very first time, Lunds Extremsportsförening (LESS) and UppX are joining forces, and we’re taking our collaboration straight to the cliffs of Ågelsjön!
Get ready for a weekend filled with climbing, trailrunning, camping, bonfires, good vibes and maybe even a swim. We’re bringing together two communities for a proper weekend in the outdoors, with a destination that offers beautiful nature and plenty of rocks to explore.
When? Friday, October 16 – Sunday, October 18. More detailed information will be communicated closer to the event. Preliminarily, we plan to depart after lunch on Friday and return after lunch on Sunday.
Where? Ågelsjön Nature Reserve outside of Norrköping
How? We will be driving there! Primarily, we hope to carpool with joining UppX members who have access to a car. If that's not enough, we will rent a car or minibus, but please note that this will increase the overall price. The more cars we have available, the more people can join!
Cost? The exact price is not set yet (likely between 600–850 SEK), as it depends entirely on how many cars we can get together. The fee will cover car rentals, fuel, and dinners. If you provide your own car and drive other participants, you will receive reimbursement to cover fuel and wear.
Food? We will be making joint dinners together for the weekend (including a LESS x UppX “sittning” on Friday!), and we’ll provide all the groceries needed for those. However, please bring your own food and drinks for all your breakfasts and lunches. There will be opportunities to make a fire and grill.
Sign-up? Registration takes place on Orbi! Registration opens first for those who can provide a car (no payment is made at this stage). On Monday, registration will open for those without a car. For those who are registered to drive, payment will be handled afterwards.
Once you get a spot and pay the fee, it is non-refundable.
Sign up no later than October 12th!
Requirements? Membership in UppX (you can become a member here).
Other info? Bring your own climbing gear and camping equipment. There’s no gear rental on site, but UppX has some gear to lend - contact us if you’re missing something. More detailed info will come closer to the event.
If the weather is bad, the event will be canceled, and we’ll let you know.
Hope to see you there! LESS x UppX
