Mark started a web company in 1998 and left university to pursue it. Since then, his career has taken him from London advertising agencies to the early days of Twitter, from founding cocktail startup Shaken to writing for Whisky Magazine and Whisky Advocate. Today, he leads growth at Malmö-based app company Perigee and supports founders through Minc. đ±đ„
But what happens when your career doesnât follow a clear plan? How do you recognize opportunities when they appear? And how do you figure out where you actually add value when the next step isnât obvious? đ€
This session goes beyond the traditional career path. Through personal stories, unexpected turns, businesses built and lost, and plenty of lessons along the way, Mark will share what he has learned about following curiosity, understanding people and becoming more comfortable with uncertainty.
Expect an honest, informal and entertaining session, with funny stories, unexpected experiences and insights you can take with you into your own career â whether you already know where youâre heading or have absolutely no idea yet. âđ
Enjoy a delicious breakfast while hearing how a âsquigglyâ career can become one of your greatest strengths. đ

I understand that not showing up for the event, without notifying the organizing committee at least 24 hours in advance, results in a strike in the system. If I receive two strikes, I am aware that I will not be allowed to sign up for more free events during this semester.
