Kelp picking event

Hello everyone! SG-Marin and Vågeni are going to have their second kelp picking event on the 14th of May! The event is going to take place in Göteborgs Skärgård at the island Öckerö. At Öckerö we are going to have a nice picknic, look at some different species of plant and kelp and for those who like snorkeling, it is going to be possible to dive down and pick your very own kelp! Tasting is encouraged! Wetsuits and other snorkeling gear are going to be available for renting at Flying divers (Adolf Edelsvärds gata). Members of Vågen Studentförening gets a discount there. Let us know before Sunday (10th) if you want to rent a wetsuit, or answer in the form. The cost will come up to a few hundreds kronor, but will vary depending on how much gear is needed. There are no gloves available. We are going to take with us some Swedish fika for everyone, but bring your own lunch and drink of choice. Transport are either with Västtrafik or by car.
