Bugg Course - SP1 2026

As Bugg fits most music and is easy to learn, it’s no wonder it’s Sweden’s most popular partner dance. It’s mostly danced in Scandinavia and is characterized by its quick pace and many spins and turns. Continuation course Time: Mondays, 18:00 – 19:00 The continuation course is suitable for dancers who have already taken the beginners course. Here new figures and music adaptation are explored further. Expect a higher pace and lots of dancing! Beginner course Time: Mondays, 19:15 – 20:15 The beginner course is aimed towards you who have never danced Bugg before. Or perhaps you have never danced at all before. It gives you a basic understanding of the dance, including rhythm and music, basic steps, and easy figures. By the end of the first lesson you’ll be able to show off some moves at CSDA’s social hangouts, and by the end of the course you’ll be comfortable enough with the dance to go out and join the social dances out and about around Sweden. Social dance Time: Mondays, 20:15 The social dance is open for any CSDA member, and we highly encourage our students to join it as part of the course. Here you have room to practice what you’ve learned, as well as socialize and make new friends. The student discount applies to students from all schools and universities and also PhD students. Choosing any one level of the course, i.e. beginner or continuation, gives you access to all the activities of the dance, i.e. the beginner and the continuation courses and the social dance after.
