Join Friluftsutskottet for a beautiful forest hike! 🌳 On the 18th of April, Friluftsutskottet will be doing a hike in Söderåsen National Park, passing by deep valleys and scenic views. This is an event for members of ASK/LMK/SLUSS. Not a member? Buy a daypass in Expen or become a member, more information can be found linked down below. When: 18th of April, meet up at Söderåsen National Park Naturrum (map coming) at 11:00 Where: Söderåsen National Park What: We will be hiking the trail called "Hjortsprångsrundan" (the blue trail in the linked map), a 7,7 km long trail estimated to take around 3 hours without breaks. The route is described as: “A longer loop through Skäralidsdalen and on deciduous forest plateau. You pass the Liagården rest area and get magnificent views from both Lierna and Hjortsprånget. The trail is demanding with rocky sections and steep climbs, but is well worth the effort." We will stop to eat a snack/lunchpack along the trail and take an extra fika break if we want (might not be by designated benches so bring something to sit on!). How to get there and back: Feel free to join some of us taking the the train to Stehag station and then bus 518 to Skäralid Nationalparken, arriving there at 10:43. We then walk to the Naturrum in the National Park, where we all will gather outside of it at 11:00. We will then take the bus and train home when we are done. More information about exact bus times will be published closer to the event. Each student buys and pays for their own ticket. Tip: buy public transport tickets together in a group and get a discount. Otherwise it's totally fine to meet up with us at the Naturrum at 11:00 and travel home independently :) What to bring: A drink, snack/lunchpack, perhaps something to sit on and definitely weather appropriate clothes.
