It is time for International Relations last big activity for the semester!!! For the last activity we will do a hike with a overnight stay on Holmön! ---------------------------------------------------------- INFORMATION AND TIMETABLE: 16 May – Day 1: Departure & Hike to Sikskärsbastun 10:45 – Meet at SLU main entrance 10:45–11:10 – Organize cars & departure to Norrfjärden 12:00 – Ferry from Norrfjärden → Holmön 13:00 – Arrival on Holmön 13:15 – Start hiking towards Sikskärsbastun * Distance: ~14 km * Planned Fika break on the trail ~17:30–18:00 – Arrival at the cabin Evening – Prepare dinner together, settle in, etc. 17 May – Day 2: Return Hike & Ferry Back 08:00–09:00 – Breakfast (everyone brings their own) 10:00-10:30 – Start hiking back to the ferry * Distance: ~14 km * Lunch + Fika on the way 16:45 – Ferry back to the mainland ~17:30 – Arrival at Norrfjärden & return to Umeå IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Food * Bring your own breakfast for Day 2 * Dinner on Day 1 and Lunch on Day 2 and fika will be provided by IR Accommodation * The cabin has limited space * Depending on group size, tents may be required * → Please indicate when signing up if you can bring a tent Transport * We may not have enough cars * → Please indicate when signing up if you have a car and how many seats you can offer Packing Recommendations * Weather‑appropriate clothing (Holmön can be windy) * Good hiking shoes * Water * Sleeping equipment * Headlamp
