WHO WE ARE Welcome to the Japanese Culture Club Munich – a community where Japanese and international students come together to share, explore, and celebrate both Japanese and German culture. We’re an open and diverse group of people—Japanese students living in Munich, international students loving Japan , and anyone curious about culture. No matter your background or language skills, you’re welcome here Our club creates a space for intercultural exchange through hands-on activities and regular events. From cooking Japanese dishes like gyoza together to exploring German traditions, practicing origami or furoshiki, and sharing seasonal customs, we learn from each other and grow together. We also collaborate with local Japanese restaurants, companies, and cultural institutions in Munich. Our goal is to build bridges—between Japan and Germany, between cultures, and between people. Through meaningful connections and shared experiences, we promote understanding, respect, and friendship.
