Do you have an idea for how the student union could be better, but you're not sure how to take it further? Join our motion workshop on Wednesday 11 November over lunch!
What is a motion?
A motion is a written proposal that any member can submit to the student union's highest decision-making body. It is one of the most direct ways to influence the union. You could, for example, propose a new activity, a change to the statutes, or an issue you think the union should push for.
What is a motion workshop?
It's a relaxed session where we help you put your proposal into words. We'll go through how a motion is structured, what makes it clear, and what happens after you submit it. You don't need anything finished. A rough idea is more than enough, and we'll work on it together.
Feel free to bring your lunch and drop by, even if you're just curious. The deadline for submitting motions is 14/11.
