There will be three sessions over the rest of the fall semester where we will learn to pin and identify wild German bees.
The goal is to build a collection that can be used for teaching as well as giving students an opportunity to get experience with more practical work and learn about bees.
19/10: Introduction to pinning bees
You’ll learn how to pin and prepare wild bees so they can be studied under the microscope, practice pinning specimens to add to the collection. No experience needed.
