A26 Aar River Rafting

Ahoy, Aar adventurers! Taking the scenic route from Thun to Bern, floating straight down the Aar, is a classic Swiss summer activity, and we’re here to experience it properly! It is a very chill activity on boats of 6 so we’ll spend the day relaxing on the river, enjoying the beautiful scenery, and, of course, getting at least a little wet along the way. We’ll also take a lunch break on the banks of the Aare, so bring a picnic and enjoy some time in the sun. Since we’ll be spending some time in the water, you should be a confident swimmer and comfortable swimming in open water. Life jackets will be provided, so no need to worry about those! Bring your swimsuit, a picnic, and most importantly, some good vibes. If you have one, please bring a dry bag for your valuables. Otherwise, a plastic bag will do the job too. We’ll have one dry bag per boat, but it might not be enough for everyone’s belongings. We’re looking forward to this little adventure with you! Your beloved ESN Committee
